D Run another 8ga wire from the relay to the starter and here is where you use the crank wire connector you scrounged at the junkyard - splice it to the end of the 8ga wire I intentionally made this wire very very long and wrapped the extra around the relay. 85 goes to a ground and 30 used a fused wire to the battery. Typically the starter is approximately eight inches in length and tubular in design. 87 goes down to the starter solenoid.
